Last updated April 1, 2026. BlissBond respects your privacy. This page explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how to exercise your rights.
1. Information We Collect
When you sign up we collect your email, name, date of birth, gender, and any profile content you choose to share (photos, bio, interests, location). During use we collect device data, usage analytics, and call/message metadata required to operate the service.
2. How We Use Your Data
Your data is used to create matches, host live video calls (via LiveKit), deliver messages and notifications, prevent abuse, process payments for Premium and coin purchases, and improve the product. We never sell your personal data to advertisers or third parties.
3. Age Restriction
BlissBond is for adults aged 18 or older. By creating an account you confirm you are at least 18. Accounts found to belong to minors are removed and the personal data deleted within 7 days.
4. Sharing With Third Parties
We share data only with infrastructure providers strictly required to run the service: hosting, push notifications, payment processors, and video routing (LiveKit). All providers are bound by confidentiality and data-processing agreements. We disclose data to law enforcement only when legally compelled.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
Account data is retained while your account is active. To delete your account, email support@blissbond.app from your registered address with the subject "Delete my account." We will erase your personal data within 7 days, except records we are legally required to keep (e.g. transaction logs for tax compliance).
6. Security
Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. Data in transit is protected by TLS 1.2+. Live video and audio are end-to-end encrypted by LiveKit. We perform periodic security reviews and dependency audits.
7. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. EU/UK users additionally have the right to data portability and to object to processing. Email privacy@blissbond.app to make a request — we respond within 30 days.
8. Cookies & Tracking
We use first-party cookies for authentication and basic analytics. We do not load third-party advertising or social-tracking pixels.
9. Updates to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes are notified in-app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
